Deborah has extensive experience in the fields of adult education, performance management and project management. Working in the industry for over 30 years, Deborah has provided innovative and relevant learning solutions to small business, corporate clients, and government agencies in a variety of industries. Applying her expertise in training needs analysis, learning evaluation, and project management, Deborah’s learning solutions, tools and processes have measurably enhanced learners’ performance. She has also facilitated lively and informative training and conference sessions across Canada and the U.S.

Tamara Cameron

GM - Director of Learning Innovations + Technology

Tamara joined the ETHOS team in 2011 and brings more than 20 years’ experience in the education sector, working in secondary and post-secondary settings as well as vocational training. She manages and implements ETHOS’ workforce training programs and projects including digital initiatives. She also liaises with ETHOS committees, industry associations, employers, training providers, and other stakeholders. Tamara is a registered BC Teacher, and holds a Masters degree in Library Science and Education in addition to certifications in Information Communication Technology

Renae Hygh

Office Manager

Renae joined the ETHOS team in 2008 and supports the management, operations, and reporting for government-funded education and training programs at ETHOS. She is responsible for working closely with internal teams and external funders to ensure that programs are compliant with all financial and reporting requirements of the grants, and ensuring that day-to-day program operations are successful and adhere to the scope of work and contract.

Barbara Stevens

Barbara joined the ETHOS team in 2008 with more than 25 years of experience in financial accounting positions. Barbara leads the financial planning and reporting functions at ETHOS, supervising the preparation of monthly financial statements and the annual budget and business plan.

Lexi Pearson

Finance Manager

Lexi prepares detailed final reports with comprehensive data analysis of all program elements (outreach, intake, operations, content, outcomes). She maintains effective interpersonal and business communications with government funders, partners, and clients.

Chris Oaten

Chris Oaten

Manager of Information Systems

Chris is responsible for providing development and technical support for ETHOS’ websites, overseeing website administration, managing pay-per-click campaigns, and assisting with ETHOS’ digital marketing initiatives. He joined the ETHOS team in 2016 with experience in website design & administration, systems administration, and web app development. Chris studied digital marketing strategy, web analytics, information systems, web programming and graphic design at Vancouver Island University and brings exceptional skills in search engine optimization and web statistics analysis to ETHOS.

Shari Johnson

Shari Johnson

Program Assistant

Shari is responsible for providing front-line customer service and administrative support for ETHOS’ workforce training and development programs, as well as managing day-to-day operations of WorkSafe BC services. She joined the ETHOS team in 2016 with 20 years of experience in customer service and administrative roles.
